ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES IN TREATMENT FOR LUMBAR DISC HERNIATION
RESULTING IN SCIATICA

We treat lumbar disc herniation with fully endoscopic surgeries using the Wolf Vertebris system. These minimally invasive, fully-endoscopic procedures allow us to remove the herniation through the endoscope’s working channel. This method reduces surgery-related injury and leads to very quick recovery.

ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY IN TREATMENT FOR CONSTRICTIONS OF THE SPINAL CANAL IN THE LUMBAR REGION
- RESULTING IN SCIATICA, PROBLEMS WITH WALKING, PAIN IN THE LOWER LIMBS

We treat constrictions of the spinal canal in the lumbar region with the fully-endoscopic Wolf Stenosis system. We are the only facility in Poland to perform these kinds of minimally-invasive surgery. The Wolf Stenosis system is used for full decompression (relieving the pressure) of the spinal canal narrowed by degenerative phenomena, it also minimizes the risk of post-operative complications. Reducing trauma, blood loss and minimising the incision size is crucial due to the fact that these procedures are usually performed on older patients. They frequently suffer from other diseases, which makes an extensive operation dangerous and involving high risk of complications associated with prolonged lying in bed. With endoscopic treatment you will get up several hours after the surgery.

MISCROSURGICAL CERVICAL SPINAL SURGERY WITH OR WITHOUT AN IMPLANT

Procedures in the cervical region of the spine are performed with Zero-P implants by Johnson & Johnson. Modern implants provide the optimal result and fewer complications related to implant dislocation (the implant is fixed with additional two screws). The risk of implants collapsing into the vertebral body is also reduced. Thanks to Zero-P implants and their fixation technology the patient does not need to wear a cervical collar after surgery and can return to full activity very quickly, 2-3 weeks after surgery. We also offer cervical disc herniation procedures with posterior and lateral access using microsurgical techniques without implants. Surgical access trauma is limited to what is required for eliminating the direct cause of pain.
